Prem Rawat aka “Maharaji” got an early start in scamming people out of their money. His father died leaving him as the spiritual leader of the “Divine Light Mission” at a very early age.

Due to a lot of bad press “Divine Light Mission” and “Maharaji” have received, “Maharaji” now goes by his real name, “Prem Rawat”, and the “Divine Light Mission” was essentially renamed to “Elan Vital”.

Prem Rawat lives a very comfortable life owning a mansion and a private jet that he flies all over the world, naturally at his followers’ expense.

Mike is a special kind of Faith Scammer, he is the only one I have seen have the tamarity to put down a woman who said she didn’t have $58 to give to his ministry, and still brag about his new BMW in the same breath. A paraphrased recount of his words: “If I offered to sell you my $60,000 BMW for $58 would you have the money then? Yes? Then it’s not an issue of you not having the money, it is an issue of you not wanting to give it to God”.

Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (aka: Osho, Zorba the Buddah) - Had a puram in Oregon, had a collection of 100 Rolls Royces, had a collection of custom made Rolex watches.

In this video at the end he admits he is one of the world’s greatest con men, he also brags about his lavish lifestyle in front of his followers who are living very megre lives and probally giving most of their $ to his orginization, they simply laugh and think it is funny. Marjoe Gortner, the youngest ordained minister in US History. He performed a marriage ceremony at the age of 4, his father left the family and took all the $ when he was 13, Marjoe ran away from home, became a hippie, then when he needed money later in his life he would hold revivals for half the year and live the hippie life the other half.

Eventually his conscience caught up with him and he admitted he was only scamming people. He also made a documentary about how he (and in his opinion all the others) scam people out of money.
